Five favorite friendships that are non-romantic... hrm...
1) Frodo and Sam, because while a lot of people I know slash them Tolkien was clearly talking about a friend relationship that isn't seem much anymore.
2) Mal and Zoe, because only a true friend would have followed Mal and would have responded the way she did when he mentioned that Wash wanted them to sleep together. Win!
3)Kermit and Fozzie, because they are Bob Hope and Bing Crosby only better. Wakka wakka wakka!
4) Ranma and Ryoga, because only true friends would try to kill you one moment and then try to save you the next.
5) Linguine and Remi, because friendship should have no limits.
1) Willow and Tara, because witches they were persecuted, wicca good and love the earth and womyn power and I'll be over here.
2) The Bride and Bill, because the way they interacted several times during those movies, but especially in anything with their daughter.
3) Lazarus and Dora, because anything that can make me cry after 20+ readings has something to it.
4) Eowyn and Faramir, because while Sam and Rosie are sweet, these two both seems to have found each other in a rather amazing way and it is a love of two people who don't quite fit with their people.
5) Dirisha and Geneva, because of one scene actually, when Geneva took off her spetsdots and showed her absolute faith in Dirisha. It was really moving.

Five favorite weapons users who don't use swords?
1. Emile Antoon Khadaji, who used spetsdot, a back of the hand dart weapon. A fun character.
2. Leon, from the Professional, uses about anything really, knives, pistols and rifles. Good stuff.
3. V, excellent knife work.
4. Yu Shu Lien, from Crouching Tiger, granted her primary weapon was a sword, but in the fight against Jen she used about everything available against her.
5. Sun Wu Kong, FTW. Fear the all powerful Monkey King.
