Well I, for whatever reason, really dont like spaghetti unless its in spaghetti pie (my nonna made it for us growing up, YUM). No matter how many times my mother tells me the shape doesnt make it taste different, it DOES!!!!
The banana muffins sound yummy and I think I'll make them tomorrow! I have bananas that are past the eating stage and have entered the baking stage, so thats perfect!
I made homemade pizza last week with pizza dough I picked up at whole foods. It was a multigrain dough and had tons of seeds and what not in it- it was amazing!
Spaghetti pie does actually taste different lol I think it ends up less saucy. Recipe for banana muffins: 3 lg. bananas 3/4 c. white sugar 1 egg 1 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. salt 1 1/2 c. all purpose flour (I used 3/4 cup all purpose and 3/4 cup whole wheat) 1/3 c. melted butter
Mash bananas. Add sugar and slightly beaten egg. Add melted butter. Sift dry ingredients together and add to above mixture. Mix until moistened. (This is where I threw in about 2 handfuls of chocolate chips, and probably about 1/2 cup loosely chopped macadamia nuts, both of which are of course optional but highly recommended lol :P) Bake at 375 degrees for 20 minutes.
