war always makes me sad, its that 'everyone that looks like ______ is the enemy and should die' that gets to me... its all painful, its all for things that shouldnt matter in the end... thats so great though that you are able to bring a smile to even one of those little children that just want to play without fear
Well said. I can see where you're coming from, and why people might automatically feel hate towards the enemy.. but it takes something bigger to see beyond that. I mean your ultimate goal there is to help them right? Not destroy them.
What a beautiful job it must be to bring gifts to children everyday. You're like Santa Clause, but for people who really need it ;)
It sounds like you still have so much to work through. I hope when you get back you have a comforting support system around you to help deal with everything. In the meantime, though its not the same, if ever need to vent, I'm always available to listen :) xo
