You know what I'm sick of? Doing favors for people and not getting anything in return for it. I'm sick of people taking advantage of me. "Friends" taking advantage of me, for that matter. All of my friends here think I'm just someone they can step over and do whatever they want with. None of them care about my feelings or what I think of ( Read more... )

I can relate. No one deserves to be treated that way. You need to tell these people how you feel. If they are your real friends, they'll listen. Sometimes people just don't realize how they're coming off. You're a great friend and that's hard to find these days. I don't think you should change who you are or shut yourself off from the world. I think you need to stand up for yourself! Don't let these friendships be one sided. I'll pray for you. I love you!

Thank you, Janae, for commenting. But I'm not really one to be assertive. That's one of the things I should be working on. I'm basically a coward when it comes to confronting people. I don't want them to be upset with me, because then it just might make everything worse and it wouldn't even be worth it all. I don't know. But if it gets worse, then I'll think about it. Thank you though, Janae. I know I can always count on you to be a good friend.

I understand how you feel. I really shouldn't be one to talk. I'm not the greatest at confronting people either, lol. But I'm also working on it. I would definitely confront these people for you though. I would love to have you as a friend offline! I just wish people didn't have to be sooo ... I don't know. Things will get better though. Your past entries about the great times you've had with your friends simply prove that. Maybe looking back at a few will help?
