this is of course total bullshit, but it rather appeals to me anyways, and besides, sounds very impressive to people with no clear idea what you're talking about. :P ( Read more... )

Black holes are so matter, I think... Or maybe that's wrong, but I know they have such a powerful gravity that they bend light, and an absence of matter wouldn't exert any pull, would it?? Oh hell, I don't know. *wanders off scratching head dazedly*

I believe, actually, that absence of matter is exactly why it DOES pull, because of trying to fill the void, because nothing is supposed to be zero

anything divided by zero is undefined, not one. therefore, god is undefined; obviously, just because hes undefined doesnt mean hes fictional. And, arent black holes a huge amount of matter? all compressed into itself...

yup, black holes occure when a star collapses in on itself, all the matter the star use to contain getting compressed to the point where the gravity can pull in light itself and absolutely nothing can escape, thus fueling the black hole as more matter enters
it's been estimated that we could create a black hole if we could take the entire earth, and compress it into a ball about the size of downtown winnipeg......course it's moot because we could never muster the energy required

so there you go. God does exist. Or at least you cant be sure he doesnt. And even if black holes were the absence of matter, who says God is made of matter?
