Ahh, I just watched Bowling For Columbine just today, wait, yesterday, yeah, for like the 32259436 millionth time. Okay, so maybe I'm over-exaggerating, but still.
My excuse was...that it was on T.V.

i don't like how michael moore is so onesided in his work.
he doesn't make documentries, he makes opinion peices.
and while supporting the working class he lives in a million dollar apartment, charges and arm and a leg for appearences and sends his children to private schools.

i don't know how much i like him :/

When I'm older, if I can afford it, my kids are going into private school. Public isn't at the level it should be.

Hmm. Well, any kids I have will go to public school, as although you're definitely correct in that the educational benefeit would be considerable, the social environment of private schools isn't as effective at readying kids for the world. (Read: Dealing with bad teachers, jerks in general. :P)

True enough, but it is my hope to raise kids who are not so naive. Not to mention, I am so sure there are jerky teachers in Private too, and a heck of a lot more jerky kids. Or maybe I'm stereotyping.

Yeah... he is really opinionated, and whatever his personal situation, at least he bloody well gets us thinking. And as for schools, I'm torn. I know my "experiences" in school were half good, half not good, at least until high school when they started to involve people. :P Although I had some great times in public school, I know I didn't learn nearly as much as I could have. So I might consider homeschooling. Thank God I don't plan on raising children anytime soon...
