did you know that Vangoh refused his daughter at the gate when she came to him begging for food for her starving children? He told her when she married a man he didn't approve of that she was no longer a part of his life and he meant it. Ah, aren't love stories romantic?

hahahahahaha...ah, so much for keeping to myself and not offending anyone. these are the days when I understand why people might think there's a god somewhere. Where ever she/he/it is, the nasty little bugger's got a hell of a sense of humour.

I walk a fine balance. If I stray to one side or the other then I will lose the trust of many. Already some are uncomfortable, but there's nothing I can do to alay their suspicions, as they wont speak to me about it. I must keep to myself, I suppose, for the next week or so at least.
