Inspired by the amusement that I'd been considering making an icon about how the Smiths are my schadenfreude band, only to have greene_man comment with exactly that same concept...sounds like kismet to me.

I'll always remember wood-graining the stage (now with alcohol!) to the sound of the Smiths and hearing you say something like that and thinking, "yes, yes, I'll never be as low as this poor bastard".
And that's how my loves of both The Smiths and the concept of schadenfreude in general were born!!

Unfortunately, The Smiths don't get my french homework done. After submitting my last assignment, my prof asked me to provide some extras that were not requested in the original assignment description... Apparently they were in one of the diabolically disorganized discussion threads (one of, no, 310 threads) that I DID NOT READ because I CAN'T SEEM TO CARE about that many "post homework, get non-useful lovefest" threads!!
Sorry to jack, just lonesome - the dogs don't care about my homework woes.
