Family Stress

A few nights ago I had two missed calls from my sister in Florida. She tends to call late at night on the weekends to talk and vent. Yesterday I called her back while I was going to pick Shy up from work. My niece answered and said she couldn't talk and would call me back later ( Read more... )

stuff like this sucks so much more when you're so far away :(

what kind of aspirations does she have? It probably sounds totally lame, but if she spent time focusing on whatever it is she wants to do, she'll have much better luck with getting out on her own in the world. That also means less time with bad apples.

On a lighter note, you could preach the joys of masturbation :p

Also... I want to do a cookout sometime next month (the most amazing chicken satay and those Korean short ribs). Let me know when you and Shy are free!

We were supposed to meet up with them at the airport in Ft Lauderdale, but my phone was murdered and we couldn't get in touch with them in time. :(

Right now she just wants to get through high school and into college. I kept telling her that after high school her real life would begin and she repeatedly pointed out that she was going to college. Aside from that, I'm not sure what she really wants to do. I don't think she really knows yet. She's always said she wanted to go into the military, but her mother is against that.

We are locked up the weekend of the 8th, 9th, and 10th. Having some stupid sale at work. Any Thursday is good, and Saturdays we could be there around 9 or so. Sundays we could work something out....that's a long and confusing response!

I'll consult with Doug. Maybe a Thursday, or since usually eat late anyway, a Saturday just might work.

I'll let Shy know!

We brought back a few boxes of Gasolina from Puerto Rico. We'll save a few for you and Doug to try. They're like adult Capri Suns!
