i haven't slept well in days.
i have an unmade bed upstairs
with a plastic slip on it so my skin
doesn't get all over the matress
through the sheets that aren't there
and i can't decide if i should put them on
so i can rest
but for the first time in my life
it might not be worth it
so this whole i'm-leaving-you-all-behind bit
has me lower than

college is going to be great for you! you're one of those people that teachers can look at and actually see potential, and tell you they see potential, and not just be selling bull shit.

you're not leaving anyone behind. those who remain here are simply not coming with you, but those that are special to you will always be with you. with that in mind, you can go anywhere, get as much rest as you need in whoever's bed, and you'll never be alone.
