maybe the strike wont end and you won't be able to take the bus. so you'll end up stealing someones bike, and then you crash it. then you end up hitchhiking, meet some intersting characters, then you'll find a bus that should take you home, but you get on the wrong one and endf up in some cornfield somewhere. then you have to walk for miles and miles. in the meantime your familie's wondering when you'll get home. all the stockings are hung with care, the christmas tree shines bright. back to where you are (probably connectiut at that point--i know. gross, right?) you find some stoop to sit on and start crying, cuz afterall, at that point it will be christmas eve and you'll be sad cuz you wont make it home for the holidays. an old man approaches you and says he has something that'll cheer you up. back in the bucket, your brother dreams sweetly, while your parents lay restless. somehow they manage to fall asleep. the next morning they run to your room hoping you made it home, but your nowhere do be found. they go down with your brother
