But I know I had the same problem at TCC and when I finally did turn the books in they waived the fee when I explained what happened.
Remember it is easier to beg for forgiveness than ask for permission :-)

the maximum fee they can charger per book is 5$ and that is after like a month or something like that. the 5th will probably be like a dollar. the 12th will be like a dollar, or two. thats all.
