The net lost jobs for April are officially 539,000. They're offset by the 66,000 census workers hired temporarily to take the census, and who will be unhired after the census is done. Wow, Colorado not hard hit? I wonder what Colorado's economy is based on!

It's all about showing profits these days - and payroll is a super expensive cost to them.

I think there needs to be a new type of corporation. One whose first mission is to exist to take care of its employees. And let them pay fewer taxes. Kinda like a non-profit, but still for profit. :)

If I spend all my time worrying about things I can't control, I will waste my life. Besides saving, which at this point I'm just trying to get out of debt, is any of this something I, personally, can change?

Otherwise I feel like all I can do is the best that I can do and then have faith that God will provide and simply enjoy what I have while I have it.

Hmm, besides working on getting out of debt and saving, there's not much else in this article. I mainly want to spur people who aren't saving into saving, and to help people who are saving reaffirm why they are saving. :)

You can find pleasure in the simple things, like sunshine and rain and a good meal. That saves a lot more money over those people obsessed with getting the latest electronic accessory. ;)
