No. I must not have seen it. I'm actually not on Facebook or LiveJournal often. I tried looking back at your Facebook posts for several days. Didnt' see it. How about you give me your take on it? Is there a friend of yours who is a "birther"?

Yes. Basically, one of my friends is a birther and responded to my post on thursday linking Jon Stewart's show - which started a longer conversation with other members of my friends list on facebook.

There are so many legitimate complaints about his presidency, I don't understand why people keep going back to the citizenship thing. But then, thinking logically can be such a curse.

It's "code speak" for: people who can't accept a Black President. Although it's also sad that Alan Keyes, who's also Black, is a "birther".

That said, I've been SORELY disappointed with all these bail-outs.

Ahahahahah!

I'm sure if the Clintonites or the McCainists had REAL proof, they'd have brought it out on the campaign trail themselves back in 2007.

Can't see the link - work blocks such things.

Remember that I got married in Hawaii? You know someone who has this 'fakey' paper - and can show it to you. I've also had to use this document to complete an international adoption - ask me how this is done with a paranoid place like Taiwan that insists that even the notary stamps are cross-sealed on everything.

Hawaii just does it like this. People who can't get that through their heads just make me tired. Very, very tired.

I know. I hear Hawai'i did away with paper documents in 2001 anyway, so there's no more long form.

What annoys me about these people is that they ignore the fact that they do background check to work at walmart. Don't they think that they would do it for the highest office in the land?

Totally! As I said to another friend, if the Clintonites or the McCainists had REAL proof, they'd have brought it out on the campaign trail themselves back in 2007.
