Hey! I haven't posted here in awhile. A couple major events have happened in my life: Ericka graduated college (she did not just graduate from college, but she graduated from UC Berkeley), and we moved into what used to be her grandparent's house. Ericka didn't go to her graduation ceremony, so we've been meaning to have a graduation party for her

Yeah, moving furniture and extensive house cleaning is frustrating. I'm going back to central Illinois this weekend to get my things and move back in with my family. I'm really not looking forward to all the cleaning.

It's good to hear from you, as it has been a while.

I hear you about the mess. Mom has piled up an incredible amount of papers that is taking so long for her to clean up. My strategy is usually to tackle one area and take it completion so that I have at least some sense of accomplishment, not to mention a cleaner space. Well, mom has her papers scattered in several rooms and tries to do all of them in one day, then gets burnt out and leaves it there for the cats to come in and urinate on them, if they manage to slip into the room when we are not looking. Yes, they have their method of marking things to remove, much like spraying orange X's on trees to chop down, LOL. We did manage to move an old avocado refrigerator of the garage, since we have to get a new one to replace the dying on in our kitchen. We are really hoping that the delivery person will take both the junker frigs.
