This will have been the first Xmas not shared with my Grandma Ivy - she was 96 when she died in August..

awww those old country women live so long....my grandma was from an old country and she lived to 99 and yours from an old country lived to 96 long lives yes in deed. All these Americans over here are making it til 70's and saying bye D:

Dont feel sad about your grandmother's death, iam sure she went to heaven. So its time to rejoice and be glad.

I know my Nona is in heaven because she saw Angels and her mother come from heaven to get her right before she died.

wow.

That is kind of like what happened with Edgar allen Poe. Whenever the women near him died, he said the moment before they died, they had a heavenly and divine glow on their faces.

He saw a whole lot of women die. His mom, His aunt, his cousin/wife, his friend's mom/wife, ..... it goes on. Most of them died because of consumption... i think thats what its called... when the lungs fill up with blood and u drown in it.... really sad.

You may wonder why iam telling u all this detailed discriptions. I wanted to pass on my knowledge to other... just recently read a biography on him... so.

Anyway... seeing angels before u die... sounds wonderfull and divine indeed.

consumption = 'TB' Tuberculosis... was pretty much one of the main causes of death throughout Europe at the time.

My grandma's sister- died from TB when she was only 19 in the early 1900s.
