- Summary: Nathan has his two assassin/helpers, his two police officers and a revolving door of TA's (Technical Assistants) the only thing he's really missing is Harold who he hasn't seen since they got into a physical confrontation over Nathan's use of the irrelevant lists. When the machine is infected and it becomes apparent that Root has not only found out about Harold but is also on the hunt for him it becomes a race to find a man who doesn't want to be found.

Olivia must be very early in her first trimester, and the level of error is not insignificant in--” “Harold, just shut up.” Nathan throws a pillow at his head. - Summary: During New York's Blizzard of the Century, Finch feels trapped in his own home. Reese and Bear walk across New York in the blizzard to come to Finch's rescue. New York is without power, so the machine is blind. At Finch's house, Finch and Reese talk, play chess, and talk some more. They each share some of their past and some of their feelings.

- Summary: Will’s cell is small. It has a blanket and a door and peeling cinderblock walls and, from time to time, a little food and water. This is the story of Will getting kidnapped while doing his aid work and then being rescued by John. The story flips back and forth between Will's current predicament and his memories of the past, particularly of growing up with Nathan, Harold, and his mother.

When their witness goes missing, Mary and Marshall head to NYC to find her. Things get complicated when Reese meets up with Mary and Marshall, and sparks fly between Reese and Mary. Finch makes a new friend in Marshall.

- Summary: John is kidnapped by Decima and held in a private medical facility for nearly a week(drugged out of his mind and interrogated while drugged) to draw Harold out from hiding. Harold calls in Fusco, Zoe, Leon, Logan Pierce, and Shaw to find him and free him. Root inserts herself in because TM is feeding her information of its own regarding John's kidnapping. Finch manages the entire motley crew until he rescues John, and gets him to safety and throws Decima as far off their trail as he can. It takes several days to deal with the drug issues (insert major hurt comfort arc here), and overcoming their own self restraint for them to finally get together n Harold's safe house.
