Caerphilly is now over and done with.  I only have two grated fingers, one skinned knuckle and two large burns to show for it - and the fighters think that only they suffer for their Art! J

In the end I enjoyed myself, and I am glad that the feast went out on time and suitably edible.  However I really could have done without cooking another feast.

Many people know the amount of work that must go in to stewarding an event, but many do not know the amount of pre-prep work that is done for Cooking.

Good lord, I know exactly how much work it is - it's the reason that as a steward, I stay on my side of the kitchen door (except for some cleanup)! I've always marvelled that cooks sign up for the work over and over again.

But yes - anything that is keeping you from scribing needs moderation. :-)
