mmm, pretty damn close to the specs of my desktop...

Athlon 2100+ clocked to 2.2GHz, 1GB PC3500 RAM....

yeah buddy, i know the feeling.

my desktop now sits in the closet. what remaining tasks I have for it, i run via remote desktop...

got myself a laptop back in may so that way i can telecommute while traveling around the country. i think i've decided that considering price vs spec, laptops are just the way to go now. i have it sitting closed here on my desk, the 20" screen hooked up to it, and my ergo keyboard/mouse.

oh, btw: the printer you recommended for me? freaggin kick-ass quality! i have all the calibration data loaded up for the thing, so the colours look absolutely perfect for what i want :)

I haven't changed a thing on my computer since I added a video card 21 months ago. Luckily it still kicks ass. 1.83 ghz core 2, 3 GB RAM, Raptor drive. I did play a lot of Call of Duty last spring, but since then the hardest use I've given it was to play Age of Mythology...

Even though I want to upgrade my 7600gt to a 9600gt... I won't... cuz there wouldn't be a point. At all.

Been playing any cool games lately?

The only game I've played on my PC for the past year has been Acclaim's 2 Moons. http://2moons.acclaim.com/2mlanding5.html

But even that I haven't played much, Stephanie's been playing this with her friends from work.

I'm borrowing an Xbox 360 right now, and I've been playing Forza 2 and Civilization Revolution. Both are very good, and I find my self immersed in them for hours at a time. Even then I'm being pulled back in to reality too soon.
