and I think Eve imitating Jack and Ianto's voices/styles is just the cutest thing I've ever heard

i agree, she is so amusing at it. just like Freema when she imitates David Tennant in the Doctor Who audiobooks. i must admit Who-verse audibooks are my weak spot and i have spent too much money on them (not to mention that my favourite Doctor has an almost entirely radio existence, there's always that).

Oooh, I've not ventured into the Doctor Who audiobooks but I imagine Freema imitating David Tennant would be way awesome. My favourite bits of Doctor!Donna was her slipping into Tennant's mannerisms-- which she was obviously very good at, having started out as a comic mimic.

Gwen and Ianto are my favorite part of these radio plays. I still love the "My bicycle has a bell" exchange from Lost Souls.

I'm so ready for CoE. It needs to be Monday.

EEE. I know. So cute. Lots of things to love about Lost Souls but Gwen & Ianto fighin' crime and kicking arse together=win.

From interviews, I believe the next one's going to be more Ianto-heavy, and he gets a 2 page scene. EEE. (Makes sense, first one was Gwen-centric, this one very Jack flavoured so.)

The radio play or In The Shadows? Both are definitely worth a listen but I loved 'In The Shadows'!

I loved the Gwen-Ianto scene when they wake up after being roofied. I didn't get all the details in this (I find it hard to just listen) but it made me giggle quite a bit and there were some fantastic lines - even really understated things like Ianto going "I think we should run now" came across as hilarious given the situation and how Gareth (and the others) delivers.

Yeah, it's hard to pay attention. I always want to be doing multiple things at any given time but the listen again function is my friend. Easiest to go back and and re-listen to some of the bits. But yeah, the post-roofie scene really got their voices spot on I think. :D (Ianto: If I wanted to be drugged and kidnapped I'd have stayed at home')

I just have a lot of complicated issues with sound in general. Radio plays are slightly easier than audio books, but even when I was in uni I'd be tuning out lecturers every few minutes some days, and that was when I was trying to take notes.

That line made me lol so hard though. I can just imagine the "omg, not AGAIN!"
