Back in Ontario

Home again, after a glorious winter spent in Australia and New Zealand. Now there's somewhere I could live: temperate climate, gorgeous empty beaches. Unfortunately, the stained glass trade there was in decline; even the best glass artists were struggling to keep their studios open. So not a place for me to pursue my career

Chicago isn't terrible but the weather is crap and the highways are crap. I think they've been under construction continuously for 40 years or something. Certianly all of my lifetime because I remember getting stuck in the Chicago construction traffic as a kid on our way to Michigan.

I don't know about Milwaukee, but Cleveland I hear is nice. I can't recommend Pittsburg. It is a bit of a pit. No luck in Seattle, eh? That's too bad.
