I feel as if I'm high as a kite, hyper as a balloon that was just blown up and let go without being knotted. Lately whenever I get into a book I have to finish it as quickly as possible, then when I'm finished I can't calm down for a couple of hours, or I can calm down but I really don't want to ( Read more... )

I am indeed coming home and would very much like to see you. Douglas Coupland is my favorite author.Miss Wyoming isn't even his best book. Read Girlfriend in a Coma, it's great. Habeeb or Mike O has "Life After God" though I have been asking them where it is for a year and they both deny having it. (moral: don't lend your books)
Good luck on your date, you are also awesome so it should be fun times.

It's funny, Mike and I will likely both get that message, not that it's any news to me anyhow. I can't wait to be finnished school and have time to read. I've corrected 3 papers on Catcher in the rye in the past week, and it's killing me that I haven't read it myself. But yeah, it'll be good times.

Something else is on during Wild On?

Yes, Pornography.
And it helps I can't understand a word that is spoken on Wild On, or however it's spelled here.

It's really good to read about you! Shit it's been a while, I gather Mike is working at Esso now? Good luck with the date. I wish I could watch Law and Order...

Enders Game is good is it? It's on my "to read" list, somewhere after everything I have now and (realisitcally) somewhere before War and Peace.

Coupland is very good. I think Microserfs was the book that got me thinking about my state of affaris and helped me start to change the things I don't like about myself. One hopes for the better. It also led me to read On the Road, so there you go.

And Julia I swear (about as much as Mike does) that I do not have Life After God (which is indeed very good) but I will look for it when I get home. Although thanks to Air Canada I don't really know when that will be.

Love y'all.
