Sick weekend

Aye, the bug got me this weekend. Completely sick on Sunday, didn't get out of bed until 6pm. Lovely Brian took off of work to care for my vomitous self. Missed my hair appointment on Sunday, took at sick day Monday and made up for it.

Saw sonia5 in NYC, got some rad dread maintenence done which cleaned up a lot of my loose hairs. Also added some

Yeah, you were really upset today huh? I could tell in the restaurant. I'm sure it wasnt just the sickness today tho. All day I had a wierd *vibe* about the gift exchange. Can't put my finger on it....did you notice too?
Anyway, the book was truly the bestest most thoughtful gift I got. I was so excited to see a photo book(especially Cindy Sherman B&W!) You should not have spent so much but thanks. I love it.
I didn't appreciate the comment G & C made about my choice in one of the Godparents. I really took offense to that and thought that it was just downright mean.
They made me feel like I had some kind of disease cause I was friends with Cris T.
I hope you get another job soon. You seem really down lately.

First off, yes, definite fucking wierdo vibe on the gift exchange. Totally annoying. La China was pissed at the book I got her, I think. Well, fuck that because I bought her these *gorgeous* amber earrings for her birthday and she NEVER wore them. So what to get her? Her only interest is the Yankees. So what is wrong with a book on the Yankees? Aye, I did my best, that's all.

As for the godparent comment, totally INAPPROPRIATE and typical of them. It's none of their buisness and never will be. Dig?
