the wisdom is not in the words, but instead in the heart behind the meaning. if we blindly contiue on our merry way without observing the world around us, we are in error. how many see the truth when it is laid at their feet?

To perceive clearly is an essential skill so few lack: the truth at their feet goes unseen, as does the truth in world around them. So many things that confound the willful blind are obvious when one's eyes are open - but to see is risk to what one may want to believe; to know, a challenge to what one hopes; to be aware, the possible revelation of new things to fear.

To those who are willing to learn to see clearly, these concerns tend to prove to be no more than delusions of themselves.

The truth is there.
It always has been: at one's feet, in the world, and in one's very hands.
One need simply learn to see it.
