Still, I find myself disgusted by "start-up" guys hyping how to use Facebook to find personal information on people they only have email addresses for.It strikes me that there's no plausible justification for Facebook to allow

After the last major changes, it simply isn't that locked down, unless you don't have information (like your name) filled out in the first place.
