My friend (I'm not sure if she'd be cool with me revealing her name so...) had her surgery this morning. It too about two hours longer than was predicted, but she is awake and ...semi-lucid. She's still drugged to the gills, so I was not allowed to go see her. I did get to talk to her on the phone. She was slurring something awful and talking about
