Can't get a break....

I've had enough fucking stress and now, now my car is worthless.

I took my car in because it wasn't running right.... outcome, estimate of $3400 dollars to replace the transmission and the water pump. I.E. My car is FUCKING WORTHLESS!!!!!!!!!

What else does life have to throw at me?!?!?!?

Holy shit dude. When I had to replace my transmission it only cost like $700.
So, your car is totaled then? What are you going to do?

I would shop around if I were you. If your car's not working right, most shops will do a diagnostic for free. Make sure you ask upfront what they charge for labor and hold them to it. Sometimes, if you find out that you need a part and you're not too picky you can go to the salvage yards and get it cheaper. When the fuel pump broke on the van I found a shop willing to do the work for parts because they wanted the work.

alwaysthedude seems to have the right Idea I would suggest asking your parants if they know a mecanic and if they do ask him if he would be kool doing work whith used parts then hit up a junkyard or three for a transmission.

The mechanic is a good friend of the family. And even if I got the parts cheaper from a junkyard or whatnot the whole car is probably going to go down the drain in a few years. Things just keep going wrong with it ever since I bought it.

I'm thinking about either scraping it or buying used parts and having friends put it together to sell it.

Either way I lost my car.
