If you ask real nicely -- by maybe, oh, pleading your heart out and coming up with a lovely, little serenade that can sweep a princess off her feet -- one of lovely Radio Op quintet might just come and scratch it for you! And if you ask with cherries on top and toss in a promise for a dance, you just might receive a surprise with it.

[She speaks as if clearly flinching.] You don't need to shout!

Is...singing and dancing really that terrible a thought? [A dramatic pause.]

Oh, wait, don't tell me -- you were one of those boys who learned dancing at a really young age, and now, you'd be completely mortified to show it off! [A light giggle.] That's so cute...!

Yeah, it's healing just fine! The doctors say it probably won't even scar, though I was sort of hoping it would. Battle scars are cool.

How's your arm doing? Besides being itchy, I mean. . .

They get ya a lotta girls too. Don't worry 'bout it though, you got plenty of chances ta get one.

Eh, 's fine. They said it'll be a couple of weeks 'til it's fixed so all I can do is wait.

You hurt it. And then it's more painful than it is itchy.

It's already hurt. That's why it itches.

You find something long enough to scratch it with!

Unless you want to scratch inside your ear or under a cast or somewhere like that. Then you just have to pretend it doesn't itch!

I ain't tryin' ta pretend! This--stupid...cast won't get outta the way!

Well, since it's in your cast, can you reach the air vent in your room? Put your arm up to it and let it blow inside. Don't stick anything in it to scratch it, you'll probably end up scratching yourself instead!

[WebMD really said to do this.]

Maybe instead of scratching it... you could try rubbing it?? Or rub it against something so you don't feel so itchy!

Dunno if it'd help 'cause o' the cast, but it's better than nothin'.

[a minute or two of silence and then as if it was shouted from far away] DAMNIT!

EEahh... Careful! O-Oh a cast! Well you could try the classic way. Use a pencil or a long thin object to scratch at it?

Gotcha! [totally ignoring orihime's advice on this because 'yaaaaaaay, options!' some thumps and scrapes and grunts as he tries to work the pencil inside of the cast] Just...get in there!
