I wonder if anyone can enlighten me on this, but is there an outside force here that is capable of influencing people's minds? [Other than him of course.]I ask because there seem to be an increasing number

It might be nothing, but if there is something out there then it'd be best to know what it is so that we can protect ourselves from it.

It seems to come and go, but one can almost always trace it back towards the moon cycle. It has a bit of a rhythm to it. Sometimes it doesn't, other times it does, but it seems to be the most common denominator among everything thus far.

Then again, it simply could be a coincidence and everything is just planned around it.

This takes 'moon madness' to a whole new level.

If the pattern isn't always regular it sounds like that things are planned around it, rather than caused by it.

That's certainly one way of putting it. Since I've been here, we've had the appearance of Sylvani, been stuck in different clothes that matched the theme of whatever dream it was you were viewing, and a nightmare dreamscape as highlights during the moon cycle. Those have all either been new moons or full moons as well.

Some activities do seem deliberately planned around it, but some seem a bit hard to explain. Though with any sampling, not everything is going to fit nicely together.

This isn't my field of expertise, but I wonder if it is possible to get a sample and figure things out.

It's possible, but I'm not inclined towards that theory.

[Charles has no idea how he can explain why without giving away the knowledge of his mutation. He's still unsure how people here from so many different places and times would take to that kind of knowledge.]

The machines do appear to be taking a decent sample of the population.
