I haven't read Lyra's Oxford, but I adore His Dark Materials. Is it worth it?

its such a quick read that I don't recommend buying it unless you can get your hands on a really cheap used copy. I got it from the public library. InterLibrary Loan could totally get you a copy.

Its just a nice little revisit to Lyra in her Oxford and only skims in the general direction of the deeper elements of the trilogy.
