Today marks a day I thought would never come. The day my journal goes friends only. I honestly never thought this would happen; even made fun of people who were friend's only. So naive was I.

I have plenty of reasons. Politics is one of them. I get the shivers just thinking someone would randomly read my entries and and know so much about me, and I ( Read more... )

Found your lj going through some entries at Mi Nismo Balkan...noticed you were from Australia. Are you actually from Sydney or near there?
I ask because I have family down there and some friends that have recently moved there from Canada for school and what not.

Anyways, just thought I'd say hi.

Long story short: Born in Croatia, lived there for 6 years, move to Abu Dhabi (UAE) lived THERE for 4, moved back to croatia, lived there for 4 years. Moved to Sydney lived there for 2.5 years. I now happen to live in New York.

Umm... yes I actually did live IN Sydney. I could see the Harbour Bridge from my apartment. Turns out, everyone knows someone and/or has family, in Sydney (or at least Austr.)

I suppose you're right...probably the equivalent to the "I know a Croatian guy, his name is John, do you know him?"

My family was/is in Homebush...I'm from Toronto...well actually just outside of it...but now I'm in Harriburg, PA...actually only about 2-3 hours from New York. I can't wait to go back to Cro...we have a house on Ciovo...it's like the most relaxing place on earth...unless of course you try and leave the island by car between the hours of 4 and 8.

We have a house in Runovic. Probably not as relaxing as a house on an island, but it can still be fun.
