Himiko stands in front of a large office building, speaking to a hurried looking executive. He hands her a package, his hands swinging to bring the point home that 'it must be kept safe'. She nods curtly, then turns and straps the small box onto the back of her motorcycle. Then she kneels to adjust something on the bike.
When she stands, her face goes white, and she is forced to steady herself against a railing. For any that know her, they might notice that - even before she stood - Himiko looked pale and haggard. She still manages to move confidently, but there is very evidently something wrong - even if the transporter refuses to admit it to herself.
The video cuts to another scene - now Himiko is handing the package to another man in a suit, this one standing in front of a far more seedy store front. She accepts an envelope as payment, and turns to walk away. Despite it being only a few hours later, she has gained dark circles under her eyes, and looks unhappy. She doesn't kneel to examine the bike before she starts it up and heads home.
A few minutes later, as she speeds down an abandoned highway, she falters and her balance is lost. She tumbles off the motorcycle. It crashes into a guard rail, while she spins to a stop in the gravel on the other side of the road. Her vehicle seems merely dented...but she hasn't got off so easily. Her helmet is cracked and her costume torn. Perfume leaks from the cracked bottles at her hips and chest.
"Ow."
She fumbles for a cellphone, favoring the arm that took the most damage. Before she can make a call, she blacks out.
Another jump later, Himiko sits in a clinic waiting room. She doesn't have the funds to go to a hospital, and couldn't take risk it even if she had it. Half her face is bruised, and there are red rug burns and self-made stitches wherever skin can be seen through her costume. She sports a black eye.
As she waits for the doctor, she is absentmindedly making a paper crane. It is numbered, in a shaky hand '570'.
