Tell me what an idiot I was for getting my hopes up.

I hate that feeling, so hopefully the Mets lose tomorrow and the Phillies win and the sun shines brightly.

Win or lose, I say this:

your team didn't play complacent or bored, so if you do win, it is because the Phils played their hearts out to go to the playoffs. I give them all the credit in the world during this bizarro Mets skid. It proves you take nothing for granted. I find the complacency of the Mets weird though because it's not like they won anything to garner all that praise last year.

But anyway. All the best. And come on, you have to wish good luck to The Glavinator!

I have the Angels to fall back on if the Mets don't make it to the pos'season, so it will probably be rally time next wednesday~. And hockey season starts, so...
