-Sooooooooo I have a seasonal job now at Boscov's (local department store chain) which could possibly turn into something full-time should I enjoy it and should I do well. But I'm doing stock which I was told I was really great at while I worked at Wal-Mart. I know that doesn't sound too hard but you'd be amazed at how lackadaisical people can be ( Read more... )

Same question I've asked everybody:
If you could be anybody else in the world, who would you want to be and why?

That's a hard question! I'm kinda thinking Cole Hamels, that would be pretty badass. To be young, hot, talented and have the city of Philadelphia love you is no small accomplishment!

What's your ethnic background?

I'm gonna steal this, too...

I actually am not completely sure! My (adoptive) family is German/PA Dutch, but I'm adopted. And in being so, I've adopted that as my background.
My birthmother isn't into heritage much (she actually told me that when I asked) but she said she thinks her dad's side is Hungarian. Imagine that, not really knowing your own family's background! :(

European. That often covers most of it, doesn't it. ;)

It does! :D But I always have been interested in those sort of things, probably because this part of Pennsylvania is so rich in its' own culture. It kinda rubbed off on me.

and couldn't stop fucking laughing at the giddy Pirates fans (yes, they existed at one time!)

LOLZ. EVIL!
It's sad the "fall from glory" the Pirates have had, really.

I just ordered my Cubs roster shirt all of two days ago. I gotta check the USPS code to see when it'll come. I'm SO excited. My first roster tee shirt! XD

My question: David Wright moves in next door to you. You're reaction, and what do you do?

OR

Who's your favorite Phillies' player, and non-Phillie?

That's what makes it even funnier. Because they have no idea of what's to come.

oh god. Well first I'd laugh a lot, and I'd probably actually try and hang out with him, we could talk about baseball (over food, of course). We could become close friends or something, and then I could get all the inside dirt. I don't know. I'd tell it to all you guys via email but we'd have to not blog about it in case Davey's people use the internets. As long as he didn't give me some retarded nickname like he does all his teammates, we'd be good.

Well, I can't pick just one favorite Phillie! J-Roll's been my favorite for a while, but Jamie, Kendrick, and Werth are a 3-way tie for 2nd. :)

oh! I forgot! And my favorite non-Phillies? Well, Vizquel and Lofton, they're still awesome even in their 40s! I like a lot of old guys though. Them and Junior Griffey and Glavdawg. My favorite non-oldguys are Jeremy Hermida (even though he's a terrible outfielder), Ryan Zimmerman, and the entire Brewers starting infield. And sometimes Mike Jacobs.

Nuuuuu no Blue Jays D: They only have certain games, and half are Red Sox. >:p

Maybe they'll have the same thing when the World Series rolls around, classic World Series games for free viewing. I'm positive there'll be some Jays in there. xP

I know in the Baseball's Best package, which is $3 US for a 24-hour pass, they have Game 6 of the 1992 World Series as well, just FYI.
