Not much goin' on this offseason, yet, for the Phils. I still think and feel that they're gonna resign A-Row, and that Bourn's going to be traded for pitching needs. I really hope they don't even glance at ARah or Lowell

I love watching the Knicks, if not for every time I see David Lee, I below "D-Leeeeeeeee"!
I was watching him the entire year. Wright made a lot of amazing plays at third base. Granted his accuracy wasn't that great at times, but he was very deserving. (Actually, I was somewhat surprised, but hey, isn't the GG determined by teams/managers who watch him play? It's not because omgheonMets, because srsly.)
lol but it's not about amazing plays. Or it shouldn't be. Ryan Zimmerman would have won if it was amazing-play-based because nothing gets by him (he can't throw to first either). David won because he was in a mostly mediocre class of 3rdbasemen. Guys like Ramirez and Chipper (even though they played about 30 less games...numbers evened out and all) and holy crap Pedro Feliz, I'd pick over him.
Don't get me wrong, David's not bad ; his glovework/footwork is getting better than the past years, but he's not a Gold Glover. Not yet, anyway. I don't care, particularly, I'm just pretty lol! over it, since it's David and I lol over him in general because I'm mean. A-Row got his well-deserved GG, so in the end, it's all good.
Those guys aren't bad either, but what's done is done. I like Davey and I know it's not about those magical plays, yet they count too and they stand out to managers and coaches.
From my journal: From the blogosphere-- "Perhaps, to quote Dave Matthews, with respect to third basemen in the National League this year, David was 'The Best of What's Around.'"
Scott Rolen was injured much of the year and Robin Ventura - my and six times Rawlings' ideal of a Gold Glove third baseman - is retired, so maybe David was as good as it got in the N.L. I've looked at the fielding stats for hot cornermen but I never know what to make of them. Fielding percentage, which David didn't come close to leading, can be misleading. Should he be penalized for 21 errors, only two fewer than lazy lunkhead Miguel Cabrera, or rewarded for encountering 452 chances, second only to his highly regarded buddy Ryan Zimmerman? I've looked into zone ratings and range factors but they, too, are inconclusive. Which is why I'm all ummm, D-Wright, as I am with Rollins and

I love this one of Dirk. Also I like because it makes Jeff Gordon look even more dweebie than he already appears to be.
