I'm not a fan of them trading Bourn before they definitely have A-Row, and CBP is so damn small, as many home runs as Lidge gives up, he's going to give up that many more. Better how? If you mean mentally...heck, if he couldn't keep it together in Houston (of all places) he's gonna go loony bin here.
I honestly just can't get over Costanzo leaving. That was the biggest punch in the gut because I didn't see it coming at all. I was so excited to see him in AAA next year, when the AAA team moved to Allentown. Like I said, I guess because he's a Phillies fan himself, I feel like I'm losing one of my own. :C

I'd heard Lidge had regained some of his success in the second half of this year, so maybe he will pleasantly surprise? Anyway, he insists Pooholes had very little to do with his troubles over the past 2 seasons. *shrug* Maybe he's telling it straight, maybe he's not; I dunno. I don't doubt that the Philly fans will give him a chance. See, that's the thing; we give chances. We want you to help us. If the boos come out, for a while it's usually a "come the frick on! We know you can do better!" sort of thing, not the "we hate you go effing die" that comes much later as a result of suck + lack of effort + being a baby. If Lidgey can realize that and not take it the way all the other fanbases take that re: us, he will be mentally tougher. If not, well. It won't be pretty.
