I will NOT own a book about the Yankees; I just can't bring myself to do it -- but I'll read it.
ha, I know how that is. I guess I can deal with my 91 & 92 Braves books since it's pre-my days as a baseball fan, thus all the teams are kind of the "same" to me. I mistakenly figured I could put up with a 95 book since the 91 and 92 books were enjoyable enough, but even after "all" these years, I can't. I got so damn MAD, haha. I'm giving it away for Christmas, to someone who will give it a good home. xD
The thing with the Phillies is that they're SO much older than their current division mates, if you exclude Atlanta, but they weren't even IN the division until, it will be 14 years ago. So it's just kind of weird, I guess. Going back and back on the Phillies and all of a sudden these other teams just disappear.
I can definitely dig the 62 Mets. Them, the Cleveland Spiders, and KC Athletics should get together for a drink sometime.
I've been such a jinx lately. See I think I told you in the card that Iguchi/Rowand were probably going to end up somewhere by the time you got it. lol.
SNY was showing the 6/30/00 game with Mets v. Braves last night. It was 10-run come back that gave the Mets the win, especially Piazza's home run in the 8th inning. Takes me back. Did not see any of the regular Braves, but saw Cox and Mazzilli. And when I think Cox, I think of... McCann :D. This other handyman in my building looks like him, so *is all thoughtful*.

w00tz. I kinda like that the Braves THEMSELVES in 91 & 92 don't buy into the "we're SUPPOSED to win because we're TEH BRAVEZ!" But then it begins in 93 when they acquire Maddux (by no fault of his). It's kinda nice. Plus this is before they were in the same division as the Phils so it doesn't really...matter where they finished.
In closing, *deletes Aaron Rowand icons*, and COSTANZO'S AN ORIOLE NOW?! WHUT?!
It's weird to see Aaron gone but I guess it's for the best. Lol, I feel bad for Costanzo's family. I was reading something and supposedly his parents bought a bunch of Astros' stuff as Christmas presents and now they have to get rid of it all.
AW poor Costanzo. I was actually thinking that, "I wonder if he got moved in or anything down in Houston". And I remember when he did get traded to Houston, he said he was excited cuz Ed Wade was the GM and he'd drafted him. *pats him* Poor kid.
I wish they'd do something for them this year but I guess since they did something in 03 (did they? I'm lost on those years), it'd be redundant. lol, I suppose if we don't get anywhere in the next 5 years, they might in '13. But oy, I certainly hope that doesn't come to fruition.
It makes me sad though, having just watched it and hearing about Nails today, although I'm exactly 0% shocked.

OH and I noticed, we got rid of all the 05 Sox! Iguchi, Rowand and Garcia. Poof, all gone!
