PERSONALITY:
Nepeta is clingy and cuddly. A lot of her personality could be compared to a kitten. She can take care of herself and has been noted as one of the best fighters in the group due to her lifestyle, but by the way she acts, no one would guess she's a born killer.
Nepeta is very much used to killing animals for food. Since she's lived with a giant lion since she hatched, she eats like a lion and prefers her mear raw. Of course, tea with lots of sugar is also a delicacy. She's a good fighter and won't hesitate to use her claws if she's provoked. She hates haters and does not want kismesistitude, and will not unless forced exceedingly.
Nepeta is used to breaking up fights between her friends. She hates fighting even if she can be provoked into fighting and usually can't notice a fighting going on anyway. She's mature, even if she doesn't act that way, and knows how to stop herself from getting angry if she doesn't have any reason to attack. She does not want to auspistise but won't hesitate if it's necessary.
Nepeta loves having friends. Anyone who shows her any type of affection will be showered in her childish, clingy love. And of course all friends are greeted with a back-breaking tackle-slide. She selflessly gives anything she has to whoever needs it, as long as she can snuggle up with them. Giving her tea and/or sugar will make her even more prone to call you a moirail.
Nepeta believes strongly in the advice of her friends. Before Equius died, she did nothing major without consulting him and she never does anything that Equius would disapprove of. If Equius or someone equally important to her tells her to do something, she will do so without hesitation.
Nepeta believes strongly in shipping. She paints her friends and possible pairings of everyone she knows. She has her own secret crush on Karkat, and no one is allowed to know. Give her paint, ash, mud, blood, anything, and she'll cover every surface with drawings. She'll also have her computer-tablet on hand, which she uses to draw to people she cares about.
Thanks to Equius's death, there will be some immidiate changes in Nepeta's personality that I forsee. For one thing, she's more easily depressed, especially when the topic of Equius, trolls who died before her canon point, or death in general, comes up. Jokes or insults about death, or empty threats, will probably have a good chance of pissing her off because death is not a joke to her anymore. I'd also think she's much more clingy and protective of her friends, because she doesn't want to lose anyone else.
I should probably also add that Nepeta loves kittens and stuffed animals, but has none now that her lion caretaker is dead. Nepeta is also an avid roleplayer and will start roleplaying even if the other character refuses her.
Nepeta's trolltag on the troll chat system, Trollian, is arsenicCatnip, and she speaks in her blood color, green. Her text is preceded by ":33 <" and she makes cat puns whenever possible, and also replaces "ee" with "33". Not that this is particularly likely to come into play in the game.
POWERS/ABILITIES:
Nepeta has claws. She's also very agile and able to jump long distances like a cat. She's also shown to be very strong, able to toss through large steel crates, destroy bars and murder ogres twenty times as big as she is. She's also a relatively good artist and skilled at befriending people. As a head-canon note, she may be good at befriending felines due to her personality.
She's also a pro at cat puns.

The following samples should take place in the Circus's setting. They can be from any point of time in the character's stay, but they must take place in the "concept" of the Circus.
FIRST-PERSON:
Hm? I get to purrform circus tricks? [Nepeta thinks about this for a second] Sounds like it would be pawssibly the bestest game in furever!
[Nepeta wags her tail playfully and rolls around] Maybe I can pair up with Terezi! Or Karkat! Or... [she suddenly frowns] I wish I could be with Equius... or Feferi.... and Gamzee used to be nice....
[Nepeta sits on the floor and curls her tail around her, then buries her face in her knees] I miss the old days....
THIRD-PERSON:
Nepeta looked around thoughtfully as she entered the big top. This sounded like something Gamzee would be interested in, definitely. It looked fun! Wait, but Gamzee was... she decided not to think about that. And then she spotted prey. Her claws sliding out smoothly, She crouched down close to the ground. With her back arched, she quickly moved backward then pounced onto the creature.
When she opened her hands, however, she found only a scrap of cloth. How had she confused this for prey? She must have been bored. Or hungry? Nepeta shook her head, sure that she was just using this as an excuse to go farther in.
Instead of standing up like she probably should, the troll girl happily pounces from spot to spot, happily exploring the area. Eventually she tripped and rolled comically into a wall, then fell into a puddle. Once she got out, she shook herself dry(ish) and stared at her reflection, to find a mark under her eye. She stared for a long time, silently repeating the name of the symbol on her cheek. Did this wierd circus do this to her? Did it have to do with escape, or what she was supposed to do here? Did it have to do with... the other trolls?
She pushed the thought aside. This had to be random. The circus surely didn't know about her thoughts about the other trolls or anything. Nope. She could ignore this and maybe it was just stage make-up that she could wash off later. That was probably it. Right?
ANY QUESTIONS?: Due to the troll culture revolving largely around card suits, Nepeta will probably be mortified to be in Spade and delighted to be in Heart or Diamond. Just a small not you can ignore or.... I'mma shut up now. :I
