 Kasai walked along the aisle of one of the many recycle stores located throughout Tokyo. The rack were lateral and stacked two bars high. Shirts of every color and every size filled the racks, and brightly decorated sale signs gave some organization to the mess. Mattie was at home doing nothing but watching some TV when his cell went off. He picked it up and in english said "Hello," without even a look at the name on the screen.

"Hello!" Kasai replied in poor English. He did well in English class, but he still needed a lot of practice in pronunciation. The "L"s were there, but he still pressed his tongue to the back of teeth to make them, a remnant of the Japanese "R" and his speech lack articulation. Switching back to Japanese, Kasai added, "What are you up to right now?"

Mattie tried not to laugh at his friend's poor English. "Hello Kasai."

"I am not really doing anything just watching some TV. Why did you want to do something? I would have thought you were spending the day with Yumi."

"TV?! Bah that's no fun. You should come play with me instead. I have something I want to talk to you about. I'll be with Yumi tonight, but I saved my morning for you!" He pulled a shirt off the rack to look at it up close before setting it back on the rack. "Come on, I'm at that recycle store that's near that tea ceremony store. You know which one, right?"
