Fifth Test: l'appel du vide, French for 'the call of the void'

Apr 13, 2011 22:01

So I'm sitting here, wondering. What happens if something falls off?

The islands, I mean. Like a cup. Or a journal, or a person.

You know, just wondering. No reason.

it's a freaky tree, plotting, in a bubble, this should be fun, curiosity killed the snake, shh only questions now, not *that* crazy, a bored anko is a bad anko, what's she thinking, that's new and different

It is a loop until you hit something and die, or dehydrate and die, or your heart gives out and you die. It is not good for a person to 'fall' off of an island. But you can try it with a cup if you would like! It loops. Do not stand close to above where you dropped it, because you might get hit on the head. And then fall off.

Huh. A loop.

Well would you look at that.

I wonder if this could be useful? Lesse...

You don't die. People land on things and pick themselves up all the time.

You also don't die of thirst or anything, because I come pick you up. Or a dragon does. But sometimes it takes a while.

Yeah but if you were to fall in something not-a-straight line ?

[One second, she's trying something else now]

You know, I'd never really thought about that...

Apparently things loop. I wonder if it's possible to move things forward while at the same time falling?

Hmm. I guess we can try throwing things off to see?

I chucked a few rocks off. But rocks can't control their own freefall.
