My mom's doing a lot better, thanks. :) Matterofact I'm going home todays. And then tomorrow Jim and I are going to WorldCon so I'll be semi-out-of-touch again for most of a week. [laugh/flail] I'm just glad we didn't have to cancel, though. As it is, Friday was my tenth anniversary; Jim and I were on the phone for a bit but it's not really the same, you know?
I still haven't fed Mom any steaks [eyeroll] but she's been eating more meat and such over the last few days and she's been fine with it, no more pains or anything, so she should be fine being home by herself again while my brother's at work, which was the main concern after the first day or two.
Now we just have to hope she doesn't have a heart attack when the bill shows up. :P
Well I just bought the entire series LOL, but I'm so hoping that they're as good as Breaking Point. (Which I'm sure they will be) I figure that she sucked me in as quickly as Sherrilyn Kenyon did and I just can't get enough of her. :D
Sherrilyn Kenyon :) I've been cursed by so many friends that I've pulled into my addiction. Even got my best friend to go with me to New Orleans to a convention that Sherri is having *SQUEAL* Yeah I know I'm a geek LOL
And nope, was so not joking about the bad bones in my family. I didn't have a chance.
As for online, I'll be off and on when I'm writing, sorry I didn't say hi. I forget that I'm on when I get on the computer lol.
Haven't taken any pics yet, I'm hoping to do so this weekend. I just got the last two items and I'm so happy on how it all looks *bounces*
Suz Brockmann is a wonderful person, in addition to being a super author. You have to read her introduction to Hot Target, it's about her son being gay. It made me glad to know her. Sign up for her mailing list. She does her own book signings around the country every summer. She is just terrific. And her books are great. I have the latest one from the library. I'll start it tomorrow night. Her Troubleshooters are great. Her SEAL teams are great. I used to own most of her books but I ran out of room.
Good luck with the family stuff. My mom had knee replacement. Not a fun time.

Good god you weren't kidding when you said bad bones run in your family. I hope all goes well with everyone.
Saw you online a couple of times last night, but I was heavy into fixing my computers.
Hope you are happy in your newly furnished home. Do you have any pics?
