yea it was part of a trip i had to chaperone, so we had like 2 hours to do whatever, then go to the the NBC tour. I'm definately going back this summer to see Conan O'Brien. It'll be 2 days Philly 3 days NYC.
Whats some cool places and the name of the that music store. I' really appreciate hearing some cool things to see and fun sights from a peer rather than 40 year olds.
P.S Your Night wounds stuff is really tightening up. I'm not as into the whole experimental scene as you but I really dig Night Wounds and Hot Girls Cool Guys.. I'm especially impressed with the progress from the demos to the stuff on myspace.
Everything you'd like is below 14th Street. Times Square is the 40's, so you need to go South. For hardcore stuff, you'd love Generation Records located on Thompson between Bleecker and West 3rd. It's unreal. That area is called Greenwich Village and it's full of "hip" spots. If you walk East you'll hit Broadway. Walk north on that and take a right on 8th Street. That becomes St. Marks which is full of great shit to do.
Hey thanks a lot man. I wish i had more time to really look at the city, but I had a swell time. I'll be sure to check out the afformentioned stores. I dunno how much hardcore i'll be looking for, since hardcore has been going down the shitter for quite some time now, and i may find a life raft off of this sinking ship.
Let me know if you ever play a show in CT, Im thirsting for something new and I listen to everything, except that metalcore shit. from Patsy Cline to Les Georges Leningrad, so hit me up.
when i read that you screamed, i saw you doing such a thing and honestly lol'd. i think i have a video of you screaming for some weird reason...
i'm scared of ny...to many people.
but we need to make a date soon, and we keep saying that but never following through!! i feel like i have too much laundry to do on the weekends lol. ;)
i'll try to give you a call sometime, it would be sweet if we could all meet up in boston within the next few weekends.
