ohhhhhhhh mother thinks i am developing mumps. MUMPS. i'm 21! the right side of my face is swelling up and being more and more painful by the minute. bastard. it better not actually be mumps, i so don't want to look like a hamster. and i can't afford the time off work. booo.

i'm sure mumps doesnt even exist anymore! thats crazy. i hope you dont have mumps though and that the swelling will just turn out to be random swelling and go away soon. eek!

i had mumps when i was little. don't you get paid sick leave?

no, it's the same as most places where you have to work 6 months "probation", then after that you're entitled to benefits like sick leave. stops all the little scumbags calling in sick every monday morning before they've even made an effort with the job :p
