Ahhh, nothing like rainy days, Something Corporate, massive amounts of cranberry juice, and the Anita Blake series to keep a girl happy. I swear I'll have all twelve books read by Wednesday, even if it kills me
( Read more... )
There is quite a bit of naughty in those books....but they're intriguing reads. Another vampire slayer thing my sister got me hooked on. >> Shhhhhh. Anita's sense of humor makes me giggle...and well....some of the sex is pretty well written. No actual gaypeople love though. DX
Edward scares the fucking hell out of me. >> I did think the wereleopard king whose name escapes me at moment sounded pretty gorgeous. Mitch or something? DX
I should catch up sometime...my sister has them all.
They get naughty in the later books, which annoys we a bit as the plotline completely goes downhill. I don't care about the stupid Vampire Council and massive sexdrive of Anita, give me Edward xD
And I don't see how he can scare anyone, he's such a cutie. Then again, I do have a strange fetish for weapons =P
Wereleopard king...Micah? Attractively written, yes, but too sensitive for my taste. Of the leopards I think I'd go with Nathaniel P=
Ah, gotta love a good read combined with good music provided in a good atmosphere.
My friend's mentioned Anita Blake to me and told me I'd like the books. Never really got around to checking them out, though. I keep thinking about my Anne Rice days in seventh grade.
It was a good atmosphere until it stopped raining and got humid xD Now it's just miserable.
It's a pretty good series, was put in my top favourites after my emogoth stage in junior high xP But now I can appreciate it for more than just the violence.
