If you would....

I have a theory. Sleeping on a couch produces more vivid and bizarre dreams than sleeping on a bed. When I say sleeping, I mean a decent amount of time, about 2 hours at the least. As far as I can remember, the weirdest dreams I've had have always been when I crashed on a couch for some reason or another. Has anyone else experienced this? More ( Read more... )

same here. I think it has to do with not being in a normal position while your are laying down. You're in a different place than you are used to, so it alters your mind a bit. Sleeping on a couch tends to make you feel more bound, since you can't really move around that much.

OF course, when I was a kid, I used to sleep on the couch any time I was at my father's (which appened at least once a week) so I didn't really have so many weird dreams then, since I was used to sleeping on the couch.

It may be that sicne you are not able to rest comfortably, it affects your dream state as well.

Completely true. Sleeping on the couch does make me have weird and vivid dreams.
Latest experiement:
Today - 4 hour nap - Dreamed of people in my family that I don't like, I don't see, and some that aren't even a part of my family. It was a very bizare situation. And there was a wooden slated bridge. XDXDXD If that's not blatant imagery, I don't know what is. (burning bridges behind me, just fyi)
Nice experiment Pranav.
I haven't seen you or anyone else in so long, I'm beginning to forget what you guys are like. I miss you and everyone else.
