Man, you have a lot on your plate. Grad school makes me kind of psychotic at times, but in a weirdly apathetic way. I worked my ass off at Centre, but honestly grad school at UofL, while it keeps me busy, isn't nearly as difficult because the work never leads up to anything. My projects are my projects, and I'm happy to keep it that way since I want to be my own writer and stuff. Science doesn't work that way fortunately/unfortunately--you kind of have to have a mentor-type experience for that (as far as I know). But it bothers me sometimes when I want something to matter, but know that it doesn't really to my professors cuz we're all pretty much out for ourselves and our own academic interests.
