Dear True Blood: I will start taking this storyline seriously once you change Eric out of that horrible outfit. I mean, I hated last season's Aquamarine Sweater of Sexual Ambiguity, and this is a hundred times worse.

Am I to understand that it's actually hotter up north this summer than it is down here? Because I keep seeing people talk about indexes in the triple digits, whereas down here in Alabama it's only going to get up to a relatively cool 88° today. (That's, like, September weather.) Feministe has a post on gender and rape in True Blood season 4, and I once again get to feel all weird and conflicted about my tendency to disagree with feminist blogs (at least, ones that aren't Pandagon) on anything entertainment-related. ( I don't have any conclusions here, just some thoughts swirling around in my head. )
