He was a good rat, and truth be told Trowa's rat's bad habits in-game were partially based on him (he loved my keys).
Don't be sorry! That's actually probably a really good idea. But a lot of 'em are made with coconut oil (we have to be careful with Ty with bathing the cats at home cause of his allergies) and I tend to be crazy sensitive to chemicals (the spray they used on the floor still makes my bare feet itch even several weeks later). :(
Maybe you'll find one that's useable. I know very little about flea shampoos, unfortunately. I guess the other thing to do is keep a really close eye on existing bites to make sure neither of you get any more infections. I know that's really obvious, and I wish I could be more helpful. Sadly the only other suggestion I have is to pick an infested pillowcase or sheet and stuff it under your landlord's door, because I'm horrible like that.
You have no idea how tempted I am to take that very suggestion. <3 The thought, at least, provided us both with a good laugh. And right now, you have no idea how much those have been needed. Thank you. <3
Oh my god, I don't even know what to think. That's. You're an absolute angel. I say that with all possible conviction. I feel like crying into my laptop right now, in the good way. I can't even make words that sound like they're right to use to respond to this, everything just sounds so not worthy.
We very much appreciate the offer and we'd definitely see to it that you were paid back every penny. We're going to call his mom and my mom tonight to see if they can help out a little too. We'll email you once we know?
I don't even have words. This is. Thank you. So much.
And, hell -- if you want to just promise that when you can, you'll pass it on to a local animal shelter or something like that, you can pay me back that way.
This is just so much more than either of us would ever have expected. Thank you. We would do whichever one you wanted--paying you back yourself or to the shelter (there's a beautiful and very good one literally a two-minute drive from here).
I wish I had money to loan to you, baby ;; bedbugs are just... horrid. And you must have a HELL of an infestation for them to be biting you during the day. Those little shitheads :|
though I can do this for you; take that cash out of the account for that thing I am doing for you. I'll still make it and send it to you, but you don't need to worry about paying for it right now.
They're ninja biters. I can lay down, and in two minutes have a bite, jump right up, and not know/see where the hell it's gotten to. It's crazy.
Are you sure? Can I do something to make up for that until then? Some kind of thread? Drawing? Story? A teensy character ornament in the mail or something? Because I have to admit I was panicking so hard about how I was going to tell you and that person I couldn't do it and this is an even huger load off than you know. ;;
Stupid things. They're supposed to be nocturnal! CUT THAT SHIT OUT, BUGS.
No no, don't even worry about it. Your situation is way more important right now than something silly like that. You can pay it back to me later, somehow. Right now we're not even going to worry about it. <3
One of the suggestions I got when Ticky Box Cat had fleas was BORAX. A huge box of it is very inexpensive, you can use it on everything, especially the carpets. And then after you let it sit overnight, you steam clean everything.
The Ralphs/Krogers I go to offers a daily steam clean rent for $35. It's pretty inexpensive as well...

I am so sorry you're suffering like this, and I wish I could help you guys out financially.

IDK what you've tried but would washing sheets etc with flea shampoo do anything to them? I'm sorry if that's no help, it was all I could think of.
