I'm happy to see an update by you and find out that you're OK. Your description of those poor birds and their quirks is actually quite funny. In fact, picturing that one bird being in love with you is hysterical. These are at a pet store, right? How long have they been there? Why won't anybody buy them? Did you see my entry from July 22? We visited a pet store in Greenville with Kris and Anthony, who couldn't wait for us to see the place.
I always read my friend's journals, but I rarely update. I saw your visit to the pet store. If we ever have birds that we have to adopt out for free, I'll keep them in Kris and Anthony in mind. There are excellent bird adoption places around here but they're still pricy. My guys are at Petsmart, and that conure refuses to bond to anyone else. He's been there 2 years...he's terrified of hands and strangers...which is why nobody buys him. The lovebird is aggressive, and the quakers are still being hand-fed so they're not ready yet.
Health issues aren't awful, just trying to figure out what's wrong with me and fix my teeth at the same time.

I hope your "health issues" aren't too serious.
