So they are murdered just because they were born without magical powers? I understand how that can be seen by the family as a failure or a disgrace, but killing is unnecessary.

Well, they're only murdered in the high society families. Or locked in some sort of, you know, dungeon.

...I see that our worlds aren't that much different, then. It seems that royalty and high society always behave the same way, no matter what is the world we are talking about.

I don't have magical powers and I'm a human! Althought alot of humans in my fandom, they have like magical tennis!
